Wedding in Miami!

A week before Christmas we went to Miami Florida for our friend Jonathan's wedding. We were able to also visit Calle Ocho, see aunt Joanne and Ian, and go on an air-boat ride.

We went to Tosca bakery and got tres leches, and postelitos de guava y queso. mmmmm!

I dont know what the roosters were for but they were all along the street!

Later we went to our hotel at the Doral. We got a deal on Priceline but this resort was a lot fancier than we expected. there were 12 year old boys walking around with sweaters tied around their necks like Carlton Banks. it was very nice!

our shampoo was from bath and body works!

The next day we went to Gator Park in the Everglades for an air boat ride. It was so fun! we saw a few gators too!

 The next day we woke up at 7 am and helped decorate the reception area. 

all the guys were decorating bc the ladies were getting ready.

Geysel made her own centerpieces! the were amazing.

her bouquet was made from broaches that her friends and family gave her. so special and a great keepsake!

they were a lovely couple!

Kevin was dressed up but att the groomsmen had tshirts under that they wore for a special picture with the groom.

We had an amazing trip. It was amazing to escape the cold into 80 degree weather! It didnt feel like Christmas down there though! We met a lot of new friends and felt right at home with Jonathan's friends and family! They were all so sweet and welcoming! We hope to visit all of them again soon.
