| Kevin took me to a fancy restaurant called The River Club, it was the best steak I have ever had and had amazing views of the Columbus Skyline reflecting off the Scioto River. It was fun to get dressed up and go out with my love! |

| Went to Mom and Dad's house for lunch to celebrate my birthday. Mom made meatloaf and it was yummy! Kari made the most scrumptious butter batter cake and it had my name in Orange frosting! Anna and Tom got me my beloved IBC rootbeer and money to spend on my new Kindle Fire. I missed Katrina and Judah xoxo. |

| Yummy! |
Kevin got me the Kindle Fire for my birthday and I am loving it! I already started a few books. It also lets Kevin and I share books between our devices and I can check out books from our local digital library as well. Im reading Mark & Grace Driscoll's new marriage book (recommend for all you married couples it is very good!) and Corrie Ten Boom's "The Hiding Place"
 |
| This is the case I picked out for the Kindle its my favorite color and its functional |
 |
| the case lets you put it in an upright position for watching movies or reading. Though it is beautiful the screen is shiny and has a lot of glare so i got an anti glare screen protector for mine. |
I had an amazing Birthday/Valentines Day weekend and feel so blessed for the passed 25 years and excited for what the future holds!

| Had to share this cute idea to the crafters out there! I found this idea on Pinterest and made it for my friends Joe and Erin and their "baby Wilson." It's easy and fun. I used cardstock for the stork and baby, then roll about 10 diapers and stack them on top of baby wipes container and wrap a blanket around it all, and tie with a ribbon at the top! I decorated the wipes container with the baby's name and stuff to match her nursery theme which is Eric Carl's "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" Cool and unique nursery theme I think! |
On another note I wanted to let everyone know that God has answered our prayers and has provided me the opportunity to resign from my position at Verizon Wireless and work full time from home employed by our friends Lindsey and Jason of HarQuin Bookkeeping! I put my two weeks notice in at the beginning of the month and my last day at Verizon is Friday Feb 17th! What a blessing! please still be in prayer for this transition that all goes smoothly. It will be different being self employed instead of being an employee and it will require me to put my time management skills to the test. I being my new job Monday! YAY!
This year has been a whirlwind to say the least! God is Great!
Recently this verse has been a comfort for Kevin and I and I would like to share:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
-Proverbs 3:5-6
Sorry this post was so random!
Hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day! God bless!
