Had a wonderful day today to start off my awesome 3 day weekend! We rode the Motorcycle out to lunch with Kat (who so generously treated us all) and Tommy, Anna, Jesse, and Judah at Mongolian Barbeque mmmm so yummy! It was a goodtime. It was hot but as soon as we got going on the bike its was nice. We went to Micheals to buys some fixings and beads and charms for Jana's graduation present and I just fell in love with the new line they have but thats another post....
Then we went to lowes and got some flowers (finally! I was dying to start on my front yard but it just now fit into the budget!)

Here I am planting red Bagonias and white and pink Impatients with a little English Ivy to accent in the flower box.

Kevin took this with our new dSLR camera, not sure what they are but they just started blooming today!
View from the street, Im going to get a few more shade type plants to fill in some spots (since this part of the house doesnt get sun) and a flowering vine to go on our pretty wire thing. It took forever to pull out this horrid viney tangled weed that had taken over the whole flower bed but this is the after photo.
Next year i may paint the shudders and flower box a different color.
Kevin got a shepherds hook for out old bird feeder its prooved to be a favorite among our feathered friends for 3 years. We have yet to see if they have braved the protective Maya though!
Well we planned a canoe trip with our lunch crowd from today so may have some more pictures and adventures to tell about! Plus its pool season and i have a pool that is calling my name this wonderful holiday weekend!!

Beautiful! I love the choice in flowers. My porch flowers took a hit with me being gone a long weekend. I am going to try and nurse them back to health. I look forward to your pool being "open". The picture you sent was inviting.
