Kevin and i just finished up our first Thanksgiving together as a married couple and it was to say the least different. I definitely missed being with my family but we still had such a great time with Kevin's. We had his dad, aunt & uncle, and cousins over totaling about 15. I made a 22lb turkey and it turned out pretty well! I made black beans and rice, a veggie pizza, and an apple pie. Leah (Kevin's aunt) made a delicious soup and homemade mashed potatoes! Yum.
After everyone left Kevin and I were pleasantly surprised by a visit from Aunt Judy & Uncle Rich, Nette, Tiff & Brendan! We gave them a tour of the house then we went over to the Knapp's for pumpkin pie and hot chocolate! We had such a fun time playing a card game and talking.

Kevin and I have enjoyed the changes and blessings that have come from our new life together. We got thru our first month!!
